About my practice
My approach to therapy is direct, collaborative, and personal. I believe that we all have the capacity to make meaningful change, both in ourselves and in the systems around us. I also believe that we’re best equipped to do this when we know how to best meet our needs, and when we learn how to treat ourselves with both compassion and accountability.
I work from a trauma-informed, client-centered perspective, and draw from cognitive behavioral, mindfulness-based, and existential therapy to help my clients better understand uncomfortable emotions, challenge painful and self-limiting beliefs, and create new empowering, meaningful, and values-oriented narratives. I am also trained in EMDR.
We will work together to process through the pain of past experiences, understand your strengths and challenges, and figure out a path to make choices more closely aligned with your values.
I specialize in working with women with ADHD. I am also experienced with:
Anxiety
Mood disorders
Trauma
Disordered eating
