Sometimes it feels like you’re not living up to your own standards.

Your to-do list is never-ending. Your inbox is filling up with emails you can’t bring yourself to respond to. You’re afraid of disappointing others, and terrified that if you aren’t careful the whole facade will come crashing down.

You know you’re capable of so much more, but something always seems to get in the way. When things are good, you can do anything – you’re focused, spontaneous, creative – but when they’re bad, everything falls apart. You’re overwhelmed, constantly stressed, and can’t seem to focus on what’s most important. You’re tired of feeling like you’re always “too much,” but still not enough.

Here’s How I Can Help

As a licensed therapist, I’m trained to help people get to know themselves, clarify goals that matter to them, and learn to navigate their own roadblocks. As someone with ADHD and ASD, I understand how frustrating it can be to feel like you aren’t reaching your potential and how difficult it is to navigate a world that doesn’t always seem like it was built for you.

I especially enjoy working with women who are learning to navigate ADHD and other neurodivergence. ADHD impacts so much more than just work and school – people with ADHD also experience depression and anxiety, struggle with self-esteem, feel unsatisfied in their relationships, and have a hard time managing overwhelming emotions. Whether you’re already diagnosed, suspect that you may be neurodivergent, or maybe even just identify with some of these experiences, I can help you understand some of the things that have affected you in many parts of your life.

I’m a big advocate for self-care as part of the foundation for mental wellness. My version of self-care includes exercise, spending quality time with family and friends, and participating in my own therapy. In my daily life, you can find me reading excessive amounts of fantasy and sci-fi, baking, playing board games, and picking up (and soon after dropping) new hobbies. My cats, Gunther and Apollo, like to make occasional visits to therapy sessions.

I’m licensed as a professional counselor in DC and Maryland. I earned a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University in Pittsburgh.
